Almond & Chocolate Blueberry Protein Bars

  • 250 ml (1 cup) quick rolled oats
  • 125 ml (½ cup) textured vegetable protein
  • 125 ml (½ cup) milk powder
  • 80 ml (⅓ cup) almond butter
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) honey
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) coconut oil
  • 45 ml (3 tablespoons) water
  • 180 ml (¾ cup) Vérifruit chocolate blueberries

  1. Place rolled oats, textured vegetable protein and milk powder in a large bowl. Mix well. Set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine almond butter, honey, coconut oil and water. Mix well, then gently fold in the Vérifruit chocolate blueberries.
  3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, gently stir in the chocolate-covered blueberries. Pour the mixture into a glass dish that can hold 2 litres.
  4. Use your hands to press the mixture into the bottom of the dish. Refrigerate for a minimum of 60 minutes.
